As the Director of Business Development at Sharper Selling, Jonathan Day had hit a familiar road block. He had met with yet another nonprofit to discuss the benefits of advertising through Google, yet even with the prospect of a $10,000 per month Google grant, the organization couldn’t afford to hire his firm.
Not too long after, Jonathan met Mark Galvin of the New England Innovation Center after a few adult beverages on the Steamship M/V Thomas Leighton. Mark asked the simple question, “Why couldn’t you guys be a nonprofit?” That seed of an idea would grow into the Digital Marketing Center. The problem was big: how to help small organizations make the leap from a very limited web presence, to operating effectively and efficiently in the digital realm.

Just real, hands on, in-person coaching, mentoring, and instruction for our students and real, tangible, results-based campaign management for our business partners.
Jonathan has over 15 years of military & professional experience in digital marketing, higher education, strategy, project management, client relations, logistics, & financial control. Jonathan earned his MBA in Marketing from the University of New Hampshire, & has lectured there as part of the adjunct faculty.
As a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, Jonathan is responsible for the training & readiness of over 180 Airmen at the largest Air Reserve Base in the world. In 2017, Jonathan was honored as one of Catapult Seacoast’s “10 to Watch”young professionals for his professional and community accomplishments.
Bob possesses over 14 years of Internet search marketing and E-commerce expertise. As the founder of a successful digital marketing firm, Sharper Selling, he has helped hundreds of clients, from small businesses to large corporations get quick return on investment with their online advertising campaigns.
Bob develops and manages all DMC curriculums, provides one-on-one digital marketing mentorship to students managing real-world business case studies, and delivers guest lectures.
